Weddings

My mom's wedding is next weekend (the 25th). I still have yet to find some shoes. I will be going shopping, again, to definitely pick some out! I should be getting my dress back on Monday and hopefully all the alterations are perfect. I am the matron of honor (is that the correct word for it?), and that means a toast should be given. I'm ok with this. I don't feel nervous about the people, but what am I gonna say? My mom and I just talked about it last night, and that was when she asked me if I would. So, I've been thinking about it since yesterday. Not much time :)

Whats on my mind now is: I am happy my mom found someone to share life with. I have found so much happiness with my husband and I just hope they get to experience that together also. Something along those lines.

Now, I know you few people that follow this blog are my family, and I have to say, I wish you were coming! The only people from our family that are coming is Aunt Linda and Uncle Bob. Well Cheryl (cousin) is coming with her family, but I meant our immediate family. It would have been nice to see you all. On Jonathan's side, all of his family is coming. All the way from Boston. So, most of the guest will be strangers. Oh well.

This past weekend, my brother n law got married. Shea was in the wedding (this is his second wedding in 3 months) and he will also be in my mom's wedding. I am so happy for my brother n law, though. Him and his wife are perfect for eachother and I can't wait to double date with them now :)

This is Matt and Celeste having their first dance. She is such a sweet person. She told me that everyone else except me said something negative about marriage. She said I am always positive and that is what encouraged her that she and Matt can have a successful marriage. That really touched me.
Here is another picture from
Matt's wedding of Shea and I.
That is all for now. :)
Two weddings of 2010 down, 1 more to go.

Hope your mom's wedding is lovely. I do know that we never even got an invite to her wedding so there isn't anyway we could have even known to go. Sorry most of the guests will be strangers to you. But I am sure you will have a great time :) Good luck with that toast!
